The funeral service for Philip R. Stoltz will be at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 14, at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Plainview with Pastor Phil Augustine officiating. Burial will be in Woodland Cemetery in rural Plainview.

Mr. Stoltz, 79, of Plainview, passed away on Friday, October 9, 2015 at St. Isidore Health Care Center of Greenwood Prairie in Plainview.

Philip Richard Stoltz was born July 29, 1936 in Plainview to Arnold and Rosalind (Poeppel) Stoltz. He grew up and lived his lifetime in the Plainview area. Philip graduated from Plainview High School in 1954. He farmed and drove truck for many years. Philip was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Plainview.

Philip is survived by his brother, Wayne Stoltz of Plainview; and sisters, Kathleen (Ronald) Sanden of St. Charles, and Ila Hoppe of Superior, WI. He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, and one sister.

Friends and family may visit from 12 noon until the time of service on Wednesday, October 14, at the church.
