The funeral service for Robert "Bob" Wagner will be at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, April 29, at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Bellechester, with Father Randal Kasel officiating. Burial will follow the service in St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery in Bellechester.

Mr. Wagner, 77, of Rochester, passed away on Tuesday evening, April 25, 2017 at Mayo Clinic Hospital – Rochester, Saint Marys Campus.

Robert Anthony Wagner was born September 14, 1939 in Red Wing, to Lawrence and Martha (Poncelet) Wagner. He attended St. Mary's Catholic Grade School in Bellechester, and then graduated from Mazeppa High School.

Bob worked many years in the food industry, and 22 years at Hancock Fabric in Rochester. Bob was a very social person, he enjoyed playing bingo, and was a great story teller.

Bob is survived by his brother, Ron (Margaret) Wagner of Mazeppa; sisters, Mary (Dick) Omdahl of Peshtigo, WI, and Lynda (Nick) Arendt of Lake City; five nieces and seven nephews; special friend, Jan Speer of Rochester, and her daughter, Tammy (Joel) Sandford, and their daughters, Jose, Jenassa, and Taryn, and her son, James (Nikki) Speer and their daughters, Jennifer and Jesselynn.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and brother, Gary.

Friends and family may visit from 12:30 p.m. to the time of service at the church on Saturday.
