Robert "Bob" Olejnicak passed away on Wednesday afternoon, February 8, 2017 at Golden Living East in Rochester. He was born December 5, 1940 in Owatonna to Donald and Marion (Litke) Olejnicak. Bob attended school in Owatonna and two years of college. He served in his country in the US Navy from December 5, 1957 to December 8, 1961. Bob married Shirle Ann Von Ruden in Owatonna.

The Olejnicak's lived in Owatonna, and Rochester before moving to Hammond in 1978. Bob worked 30 years as a Chemical Dependency Counselor. He enjoyed antique collecting and loved spending time with his dogs.

Bob is survived by his three daughters, Dawn (John) Bemmert of Hammond, Jodi (Darwin) Spearman of Rochester, and Sherry Alhrichs of Owatonna; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife on October 31, 2007, a son, Craig on September 4, 2016, and one brother, Donald.

A private family burial will be in Forest Hills Cemetery, Owatonna at a later date.
