Roger
Timm
d. May 28, 2020
A memorial service is planned for Roger Timm, of Rochester, who passed away at his home unexpectedly, on Thursday, May 28, 2020.
Roger married Janice, his high school sweetheart and one and only love. Roger was in the US Army Reserve for eight years and held many sales jobs in his early career. He changed careers and was able to do his favorite job of farming. With the help of family, friends and businesses he was able to farm up until his death. The family is thankful for the farming help from friends and businesses following his death.
Roger enjoyed a lifetime of hunting and fishing and in recent years, he especially enjoyed time at his cabin with family and friends. He liked country music, Johnny Cash being a favorite, and liked a good joke or story (especially if he was telling it – he loved to kid and make people laugh).
Roger is survived by his loving wife, Janice, and his wonderful daughters and spouses, Julie (John) Willis, Brenda (Steve) Rogerman, and Lori (Robert) McNeese, and the pride and joy of his life, his grandson, Timm. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ollie and Ervin, and his sister Margery.
An outdoor memorial service will be held on Wednesday, July 7, 2021, at 11:00 a.m. at the Millville Cemetery in Millville, MN, with Pastor Ana Wilson officiating. If inclement weather, the service will be moved indoors to Grace United Church of Christ in Millville, MN.
Roger's family continues to be thankful for the many people who have expressed their sympathy and care over the past year. You greatly touched our hearts.
Blessed be His memory. Give your loved ones a hug when you can. Always cherish the memories.

So sorry are we now
To hear about the man behind the plow
His days on earth were numbered
And now he has slumbered
Perhaps he went to an After Life Subline
And we'll see him in the coming time
Although he has passed away
We hope to see him again some day
Although his Life has come to an end
He will always be our farmer friend
