Sandra "Sandi" Louise Erion, 82, of Eyota, passed away on Saturday, December 14, 2024, at Mayo Clinic Hospital – Rochester, Methodist Campus. She was born on October 25, 1942, in Mankato, to Fred and Lorraine (Schott) Kulack, Jr. Sandi grew up in the Lewiston area and attended school in Lewiston, graduating from Lewiston High School in 1960. On August 12, 1961, she married the love of her life, Daryl Erion at St. John's Lutheran Church in Lewiston.

Sandi worked at Winona National Bank, and at Camera Art (Herff Jones) for many years, with her best friend, Sandy Rasmussen, retiring from Herff Jones in 2006. Sandi lived in Lewiston, Goodview area and the Twin Cities before moving to Eyota in 1973. She enjoyed spending her free time crocheting, knitting, and baking for her family and friends and collecting giraffe figurines. Most of all Sandi loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She attended many of her grandchildren's sporting events. Sandi was a member of Our Savior's Lutheran Church in Eyota.

Sandi is survived by her loving husband, Daryl Erion of Eyota, two daughters, Stacy (Mark) Braun of St. Charles, and Shelley (Joel) Mickow of Elgin; four grandchildren, James (Dana) Twernbold, Jake (Justine) Braun, Jerricho (Maddy) Braun, and Jade (Jarett Mueller) Mickow; four great-grandchildren, Zooey, Jameson, Azra, and Rowan; and one sister, Lori (Hollis) Donehower of Minnesota City. Sandi was preceded in death by one daughter, her parents, one sister, and one brother.

A private graveside service will be held at a later date in St. John's Lutheran Cemetery in Lewiston.
