Scott Patrick Heitman, 58, of Zumbro Falls, Minnesota passed away on Friday, July 24, 2026, at Mayo Clinic Hospital – Rochester, Saint Marys Campus.

Scott was born December 26, 1967, in Rochester, Minnesota to Leo and Victoria (Gahler) Heitman. He grew up in Colorado attending elementary school in Namaqua, Colorado and graduating from Thompson Valley High School in Loveland, Colorado in 1986. After graduation Scott worked in the medical field in Loveland at the McKee Medical Center, and then in Greeley, Colorado at the Northern Colorado Medical Center and Banner Health System. He later returned to Minnesota and lived in rural Zumbro Falls.

Scott is survived by his son, Devin Scott Heitman of Colorado, a grandson, his father, Leo Heitman of Zumbro Falls, and two sisters, Stacy Caroline (Patrick) Laganiere of Preston, Minnesota and Kristin Jo Roitsch of Berthoud, Colorado. He was preceded in death by his mother.
