Sherry Lee Jackson, 61, of Zumbro Falls, passed away Friday morning, January 15, 2021 at Mayo Clinic Hospital – Rochester, Saint Marys Campus. She was born December 14, 1959 in Winona to Franklin and Lavonne (Schmidt) Huntley. Sherry graduated from Mazeppa High School in 1978.

Sherry worked for many years at Delila's in Zumbro Falls. She was a very hard worker and worked as a bartender, bar-manager, cook, and housekeeper, during her working years. She especially loved people and made many relationships through her work over the years.

Sherry is survived by her life partner, Dana Oelkers of Zumbro Falls; her children, Krista Bulow of Mantorville, Joshua Jackson of Le Claire, IA, Deanna Oelkers and David Oelkers both of Lake City; five grandchildren, Halley, Madelyne, Braeden, Kendra, and Mercie; her father, Franklin (Tammy) Huntley of Texas; and her stepfather, Keith Reeve of Weaver; two sisters, Sandy (Todd) Pruismann and Shelly Lemmerman both of Rochester.  She was preceded in death by her mother, Bonnie, brother, Scott, and sister, Susan.

A walk-through visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 19, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Schleicher Funeral Homes, Lake City Chapel. A private family service will be held on Wednesday, January 20, at Schleicher Funeral Homes with burial following in the Millville Cemetery.  Masks are required and please practice social distancing.
