Shirley Marie Kruger (Irish) was called home Tuesday April 30, 2024, at the age of 79. She was born December 5 ,1944 to the late Stacy Leaver and Zita (McGrath) Irish in Wabasha Co., MN.

She was known for her witty comebacks and sense of humor. She loved camping, cookouts and 4 wheeling with family and friends.

Shirley is survived by her loving sister Gail (Loren) Pugh; daughters Stacy Metcalf and Wanda (Jeff) Hembree; 5 grandchildren Erica (Mark) Piekarski, Jenna (Bill) Holland, Lynn (Travis) Metcalf, Katie (Kyle) Block, Chelci (Gus) Peterson; 9 great grandchildren; nieces, nephew, and other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, brother Bill; husband Robert J. Kruger; son Jay Robert; and great-granddaughter Peyton Marie Holland.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, May 18, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Joachim Catholic Cemetery in Plainview, MN with Msgr. Tom Melvin officiating.
