Terrance "Terry" Owen Kopp, 58, of Lake City, Minnesota passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, June 19, 2025, at Mayo Clinic Health System – Red Wing Hospital in Red Wing, Minnesota. Terry was born on August 26, 1966, in Bismarck, North Dakota to Owen and Joyce (Barrett) Kopp.

The Kopp family lived in North Dakota and later moved to Minnesota where Terry graduated from Hastings High School in 1985. Following graduation, Terry moved to Lake City where he began his lifetime career as a printer and was employed by Hiawatha Design until 2001. Then he was employed by the Koozie Group in Red Wing for 24 years until the time of his death.

On September 19, 1998, he married Shelly Shones in Lake City. Terry was an active member of the Valley View Assembly of God Church in Lake City.

Terry is survived by his loving wife, Shelly Kopp of Lake City; by his sons, Byron (Allison Marsh) Kopp, Colby Kopp, Danny (Ashley) Bremer; daughters, Crystal (Michael) Peterson, and Denver (Ryan Minchinton) Bremer all of Lake City; five grandchildren, Cecilia, Adam, Emmalee, Nadilee, and Justin; his parents, Joyce & Owen Kopp of Lake City; and a sister, Krislyn (Jim) Schellberg of Rosemount. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, in-laws, Leroy and Vera Shones, brothers-in-law, Randy Salgy and Scott Shones.

The funeral service for Terry will be at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 24, at the Valley View Assembly of God Church in Lake City with Pastor Orin Sandberg and Pastor Jim Bzoskie officiating. The burial will follow the service in Lakewood Cemetery in Lake City. Friends and family may visit from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. on Monday, June 23, at the Schleicher Funeral Homes Lake City Chapel and one hour prior to the service at the church on Tuesday.

Memorials are preferred.
