The memorial service for Timothy N. Arendt will be at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, April 11th, at St. Mary of the Lake Catholic Church in Lake City with Father Joseph P. Pete officiating. Burial will be in the St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery in Bellechester.

Timothy Arendt, 65, of Lake City, passed away on Saturday morning, December 6, 2014 at the Mayo Clinic Health System – Lake City Care Center.

Timothy Nicholas Arendt was born December 25, 1948 in Red Wing to Clarence and Cecilia (Reiland) Arendt. He attended the Catholic School in Bellechester and graduated from Mazeppa High School in 1966. Tim then attended Mankato State College for 4 years, following his college graduation he was drafted in the US Army, and served from September 1970 to April 1972, spending most of his time in Germany.

Tim worked for Knudson Construction, and Rochester Silo while attending college. After his military service he worked construction at Prairie Island Power Plant. He was a member of St. Mary of the Lake Catholic Church in Lake City and former member of the SAE Fraternity.

Tim is survived by three sisters, Patricia (Dr. Richard) Heilman of Horseshoe Bay, TX, Nancy (James) Carnago of Romeo, MI, and Mary Kalu of Ypsilanti, MI; six brothers, David (Susan) Arendt of Middletown, WI, Donald (Phyllis) Arendt of Decorah, IA, Robert (Sally) Arendt of Winlock, WA, William (Linda) Arendt of Wabasha, Mark (Kathi) Arendt and Anthony "Tony" (Rene) Arendt both of Mazeppa; and a special friend Jolynn Arenson of Lake City. He was preceded in death by his parents, and brother, Gary.

Friends and family may visit from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service on Saturday, April 11th, at St. Mary of the Lake Catholic Church in Lake City.
