Timothy "Tim" Scott Eversman, age 61, of Hinckley, Minnesota and formerly of Zumbro Falls, Minnesota, passed away at M Fairview University of Minnesota Medical Center - East Bank in Minneapolis on Wednesday, July 22, 2026.
Timothy was born in Wabasha, Minnesota on September 4, 1964, the son of Tom and Bonnie (Wheeler) Eversman.
Tim attended school in Plainview and was a graduate of Plainview-Elgin-Millville High School in 1983. He enlisted in the US Air Force and served his country from 1983 - 1987 and was stationed in Utah and Colorado. During his enlistment, Tim continued his education in communications. Upon his honorable discharge he returned home and worked at Lakeside Foods in Plainview and met his future wife, Dorie Krier. The couple were married in 2000 in Wabasha and shared 38 years together. They made their home in Zumbro Falls, where they raised their family and built a life together. Tim worked at PPI of Cannon Falls during this time and was a volunteer fire fighter for Zumbro Falls Fire Department and Rescue from 1991 - 2004. Tim currently worked as a maintenance manager in Rush City and dearly loved being a Zamboni Driver for the Pine City Dragons.
Tim was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church - West Albany in rural Millville, Minnesota. He loved shooting firearms and hunting. After undergoing a valve replacement, he developed a deep appreciation for his health, discovering a passion for running. He was a devoted husband and deeply loved his children and grandchildren.
Tim is survived by his wife, Dorie of Hinckley; his children, Brittany Eversman of Plainview, Michael Eversman of Hinckley, and Patrick (Jasmine) Eversman of Sartell; and his six grandchildren, Emily, Landon, Lucy, Chloe, Madison, and Cooper. He is also survived by his stepmother, Penny Eversman of Plainview; his mother-in-law, Rosy Krier of Millville; and his three siblings, Tommy (Lori) Eversman of Rushford, Tony (Shelly) Eversman of Plainview, and Tanya Eversman of Plainview.
He was preceded in death by his mom Bonnie Eversman in 1997, his son Carter in 2004, his father Tom Eversman in 2016, and his father-in-law, Darrel "Dean" Krier in 2017.
The funeral service for Tim will be at 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, July 30, at Schleicher Funeral Homes, Plainview Chapel. The burial will follow the service beside his son Carter in St. Patrick's Catholic Cemetery in West Albany with full military rites performed by the Millville American Legion Post #579.
Friends and family may visit from 12:00 to 1:30 p.m. at Schleicher Funeral Homes, Plainview Chapel on Thursday, July 30.
