The memorial service for William "Bill" Hendrix will be at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, August 28, at The Church of Christ in Plainview with Pastors Charles Coggins and Bob Blanshan co-officiating.

William Roy Hendrix, 59, of Mazeppa, passed away Tuesday evening, August 21, 2018 at Mayo Clinic Hospital – Rochester, Saint Marys Campus.  He was born April 20, 1959 in Rochester to Carl and Betty (Parks) Hendrix.

Bill grew up and attended school in Rochester.  And then worked for Rochester Meats.  In 2005 he moved to Mazeppa.  Bill enjoyed rock hunting, looking for and collecting arrowheads, and guns.  He was a history buff, enjoyed being with his dog, "Lucy", smoking meats, and especially spending time with his family.

Bill is survived by his spouse, Eileen Montenurro of Mazeppa; sisters, Martha Haag and Bonnie King both of Dodge Center, Linda (Larry) Oldenberg of Clear Lake, WI, Mary (Harvey) Deming of Elgin, Cathy Fallon and Barb Hendrix both of Plainview; brothers, Omer Hendrix, Steve (Lisa) Hendrix, Dale (Edna) Hendrix, Jim Hendrix, and Tom (Christine) Hendrix all of Rochester.  He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother David, and sister-in-law, Karen.

Friends and family may visit one hour prior to the service at the church on Tuesday.
