Yvonne Deloris Bowen, 83, of rural Kellogg passed away on Thursday morning, April 27, 2023, at Mayo Clinic Hospital – Rochester, Saint Marys Campus. She was born on July 24, 1939, in North Dakota to Peter and Lillian Peterson. She married her high school sweetheart Kenneth Bowen, Sr. at the age of 16 in Glenwood, Minnesota in 1955.

Yvonne enjoyed going camping, cooking, and baking for her family and friends. She loved to watch Western Shows and traveling. She especially loved spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

Yvonne is survived by her four kids, Kristene, Kenneth, Jeffery, and Gerald, and her loving grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and many loving friends and family. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Kenneth, and two grandchildren, Trenton, and Justin.

A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 18, at Greenwood Cemetery in Plainview. A Celebration of Life for Yvonne will be hosted by her family at Whipperwill Campground on Sunday, July 23,  at 1:00 p.m.
