Yvonne “Bunny” E. Miller, age 79 of Rochester, Minnesota passed away at Mayo Clinic Hospital – Rochester, Methodist Campus on Wednesday, September 16, 2026.

Yvonne was born on January 19, 1947, in Los Angeles, California, the daughter of Warren and Irene (Gilbert) Miller. She was raised in Gardena, California, and attended school in Lawndale, California. She graduated from Leuzinger High School in Lawndale, California in 1964. Yvonne moved to Bakersfield, California in the mid-1970s and then to Minnesota in 1983. She resided with her parents in Plainview until entering the nursing home in Rochester.

Yvonne was passionate about animal rescue and was a wonderful supporter of the local humane societies.

She is survived by her siblings, Avalon Carter of Aberdeen, Washington, Robert Miller of Orange Park Florida, and Harry James Miller of Bristow Virginia, two nieces and five nephews.

Yvonne was preceded in death by her parents, brother-in-law William Carter in 2026 and two sisters-in-law, Claudia Miller in 2003 and Marjorie (Peggy) Miller in 2023.

A private interment will be held at a later date.
