Zada I Peterson, 87, passed away on Tuesday May 28, 2024, at Olmstead Medical Center in Rochester, MN. She was born January 29, 1937, in Lake Crystal, MN to Oscar and Estella (Caswell) Goranson. She was formerly married to Ronald Moore, the father of her children.

Zada was a hard worker, well loved, generous and always willing to help anyone. Zada was a word search lover, her green thumb made her a gardening expert, and baking and cooking extraordinaire. We all anticipated eating her wonderful smelling homemade breads and rolls, lemon meringue pie, homemade chicken noodle soup and fried chicken she made for every family reunion.

She is preceded in death by son Leonard, daughter Tammie, her parents, brothers Robert and Hayse, sisters Lois, Margaret, Jackie, and Sharon.

She is survived by children Deanna Vang, Lyle Moore, Julene Moore (Joe) and Monica Moore.
Brother David, sisters Nada, Jean and Helen. 11 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.

To honor our mother's wishes there will not be any funeral services. Zada was cremated and there will be a scattering of ashes ceremony at a later date.
